Our aim is to recruit, retain and develop the highest calibre of staff to meet the needs of our business.

During recruitment we make sure that the job role is clear and we select people based on their skills, their ability to work with others, their ability to learn and their future potential. We take care to provide a structured induction programme so that new staff can quickly become part of the business.

It is part of our business plan that staff have the opportunity to gain recognised qualifications and we offer vacancies that exist in the organisation to current employees. During employment every person is assessed on their skills and abilities and where necessary the appropriate training given. Where qualifications are required by legislation i.e. First Aid, then staff are given the opportunity to volunteer to under take this training also. This applies at all levels of the organisation.

We have compiled a record of the qualifications of all site employees and have identified any areas in which additional training is required.

The aim is to provide the training necessary to make sure that all site staff maintain their level of skills and all staff have the variety of skills and qualifications they need to support each site team.
