Trevor Tack, HIAB 2016 UK Crane Champion

Agetur UK are delighted that Trevor Tack, their long serving and experienced HGV Lorry Driver has reached the finals of the Hiab 2016 World Crane Champion.  The overall winner will be crowned at the finals, which will take place at the IAA exhibition in Hanover, Germany, in September 2016.

The first-ever World Crane Championship in April 2015 started a new tradition in the industry, giving crane operators from around the world the chance to showcase their skills and measure their abilities against their peers. Contestants must demonstrate their skill and expertise in a timed trial that will challenge their ability to manoeuver a state-of-the-art midrange HIAB HiPro crane through a series of precise tasks and tight obstacles.

Trever first had to take part in the UK Championship of which he emerged as overall winner securing his place in the Worlds against the following 15 countries: Poland, Slovenia, New Zealand, Sweden, Spain, Norway, Netherlands, France, Finland, Germany, Italy, Australia, Austria, Belgium and Denmark.

The competition offers the ultimate test of precision, accuracy and nerves of steel and is being held in recognition of the highly skilled crane operators from around the world who perform demanding jobs daily.

We congratulate Trevor on his amazing achievement to date, and wish him the very best of luck in September.
